The 2006 Lincoln Navigator, like its 2005 counterpart, is available in two separate trim ranges – Luxury and Ultimate. Each range of this four-door luxury SUV offers car buyers the choice between a 4x4 and a 4x2 packages. The 4x4 version of the Ultimate model has better performance.
The 5.4-liter V8 engine is retained in the 2006 Lincoln Navigator,, and so is the six-speed auto transmission. These features are retained from the 2005 model, resulting in continued high performances. The engine still delivers the same 300 horsepower that it did in the previous year’s model.
The '06 Navigator has an optional Elite Package which includes 18” chrome wheels, a heavy-duty hitch for trailers, new HID headlights, a full audio entertainment system for the rear seat and an in-built navigation system.
